INTELLIGENT INNOVATION<\/h1>\n

In 2003 Norwich Beverage President, Allyn Brown, was looking for a co-packer for his new to the market Black Currant Juice \u201cCurrant Affair\u201d. Unable to find a good local co-packer, he built his own plant on his 300 acre farm. As the co-packing business started to come his way, the original plant became too small and in 2015 everything was moved to a new 26,000 sqft facility and Norwich Beverage was formed. \u201cCurrant Affair\u201d continues to be a customer of Norwich Beverage. The plant is far from reaching its capacity and new production lines and equipment are continuously being added to ensure that the plant has the most advanced processing and packaging equipment in the industry.<\/p>\n

PARTNERSHIPS<\/h1>\n

Fueling this growth has been our co-packing efforts with several national brands but also our willingness to work with smaller brands and startups. We have the capability to do small test runs along with having smaller minimum runs compared to the larger co-packers. We are also conveniently located in Connecticut which makes for lessor transportation cost throughout the northeast corridor.<\/p>\n

Receiving, Storage<\/strong>
All ingredients are received, processed and stored in either our freezer, cooler or dry storage. We have a single bulk receiving Bay with full hot and cold water and CIP. Product can be pumped to one of our storage tanks or directly to the blend room to be blended, or directly to one of our pasteurizers in the case of a product like Apple Cider.<\/p>\n

All blending is done in our Blending Room which is adjacent to our Bottling Room. There is a high speed mixer for ingredients and 3 large blend tanks for mixed product ready for production.
